Daydreamer Bracelet

Okay, so this didn't photograph so well...I'm blaming the bracelet, not my photography skills...lol...This is Jill Wiseman's Daydreamer...I used miniduos and 15/0s and made it a bangle.  It's very comfortable and rolls right on my wrist...I can't believe I actually made it to fit right!  I always stink at doing that.  I don't know if you can tell by the picture, but it's a mixture of bronzes.  I'm working on a double strand tennis bracelet right now...at the rate I bead, I should be finished in about ten years...:)

All That Jazz

This is a bracelet that my friend, Terri, showed me how to make...it's basically a glorified right angle weave tennis bracelet with 15/0s in the ditches...easy to make...I reinforced it A LOT because I used gold KO thread before I EVEN thought about the sharp edges on the metal beads...should've used Fireline but I didn't want thread to show...even though I had to reinforce a lot, I'm really glad that I used the gold thread.  The bracelet has a nice feel.  I used 2.5mm gold-filled rounds for the base and embellished with 15/0 gold Miyuki's and 3mm gold-filled bicones...used the the same 15/0 gold Miyuki's in the ditches...used a magnetic button clasp.  Email me at wowmaw@aol.com with any comments or questions!  :)

Pinnacle Bands

This is another pattern by Deborah Roberti...I'm REALLY liking her patterns.  This was fun to make and is very comfortable to wear.

This is Deborah Roberti's Stacker pattern using only tilas.  The last one that I did was another variation...I think this one works better if your Super Duo is not the same color as your 11/0 bead that's closest to it.  I was especially pleased with the clasp because it kinda looked like the tilas!   :)  Also, I found out the hard way that Super Duos work WAY better than twins in this pattern.

Super Duo Bracelet

I made this bracelet to stack with another that I will post next...but I liked it so much that it's fine by itself...I used gold super duos with 2mm crystal rounds between each.  This turned out to be a very comfortable bracelet!

ANOTHER Silver Tube Necklace

I used 3mm Swarovski rounds with this one.  It goes with EVERYTHING.

Deborah Roberti's Stackers

This is a version of Deborah Roberti's Stackers patterns that was tweaked by Linda Genaw.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE Deborah Roberti's patterns.  I almost made this one too small...am making another one in different colors...this one will be a little bigger...will post when done.

Alexandra Bracelet

This bracelet was really cool to make.  It wasn't overly hard...it was fun...and I learned new things.  The pattern is by Deborah Roberti...http://www.aroundthebeadingtable.com...that was one of the best written patterns that I have ever come across.  She had excellent pictures and, to back that up, excellent written directions.  You couldn't go wrong!   :)

Another Spiral Tube Necklace

Okay, so here's another necklace with the spiral tubes.  I found these little black beads at a bead show...

Pearl Spiral Tube Necklace

I made this using the same idea as the bangles.  Instead of using stretchy material, I used Softflex and a clasp that has a link on one side where you can insert the hook at different places for different lengths...don't know if you call that an adjustable clasp or an extender clasp.

Terri's Bangles (in silver this time!)

These are fun and easy to make!  They are very comfortable and go with everything!

Montee Tennis Bracelet

I got my inspiration for this from a Firemountain Gems email.  I did mine a little differently and with some different components, but it's very easy to do and very easy to see how to do it from the picture!

Terri's Bangles

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these.  My friend, Terri, told me how to do these...you can basically look at them at figure them out...if you're not comfortable with them just rolling over your wrist, you can put them all on a slide lock clasp or wear them individually with clasps.  Have to make me some silver ones next!

Jaycee's Amethyst Cuff Bracelet

Okay, so this isn't amethyst...lol...I used 4mm black Swarovski pearls and 4mm light grey Swarovski pearls...this turned out to be a very nice, comfortable bracelet...Thank you, Jaycee!

Pearl and Crystal Necklace

Have you ever made a piece of jewelry that you don't know why you made it and you're glad you're finished with it?  This looks like a bridal piece.  I'm already married and not planning on getting married again anytime soon.  I guess I can give it as a present or even save it for my daughter for when she gets married.  This is a simple pattern, but it was a stinker to make because of the way the pattern was written.  The pattern was perfect until you got to the "V" and then it said basically "reverse what you did for the first side".  I had to think too much...lol.  I can't remember which magazine the pattern was in...It turned out beautifully, but I would probably have gotten more use out of it had I maybe made it with black pearls and copper crystals?  Not going to make another one, though.

Embellished Netted Bracelet

Hi!  

Finished a bracelet!  Got the pattern from Japanese Beadwork with Sonoko Nozue...page 60...Night Dew...I did not embellish both sides.  This is a nice book, and the bracelet feels nice and slinky on...she had a cool way to embellish it!

Anyhow, give it a try!

Peyote Bracelet with Hidden Clasp

I made this peyote bracelet using liquid silver, which is a little smaller than #1 size bugles...added a picot edge and I thought it looked a little plain, so I added all the pearl fringe around the slide-lock clasp.  It's not a difficult bracelet to make, but I got tired of doing all the fringe...lol...when I get to the end of a project, I WANT TO BE DONE WITH IT!!!   :)  And now I've started a netted bracelet embellished with crystal...as slowly as I bead, my next post will probably be next year, so don't give up on me!

Princess Kate Bracelet

This bracelet was in either Beadwork or Bead and Button...can't remember.  It was a stinker to do.  I tried to follow the pattern and the cup chain would NOT line up with the tilas...so I reworked it and reworked it and finally ended up with this. 

Latest New Pieces

I have not given up on beading...things have just been hopping around here!  :) My son has graduated from the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) and my daughter has successfully completed the 9th grade and is now a sophomore.  I've finished several pieces and even taken pictures...just lazy when it actually comes to posting...sorry!  So here they go!

The first is a gold Russian spiral:

The second one is a silver fringe necklace with a chevron base.  The pattern is by Glenda Payseno:

The third is a pattern that I came up with...nothing fancy and very easy:

And, last but not least, is another pattern that I came up with by playing around...gold tilas done in ladder stitch with a braided rope edge...this one was a stinker when you go to finish up the last row of the edging.
