Montee Ring

Okay, so I'm STILL working on my Petalicious Cuff...and I know I have to take some progress pics, but I needed a quick fix so I made this. I used a crystal AB montee and 3mm GF smooth round beads and have the two strands intersecting in the back. I've also made a few eyeglass leashes and another ring. Will try to take pictures of those, too!

Earrings

Still working on the Petalicious Cuff...but did find time to make some earrings. Wish I could say that the design was mine, but it's not. My friend, Mary Ann, came up with this! I made way more than three pairs, but didn't want you to see how obsessive I was...lol. Again, I was greedy and wanted them in every color! :)

Swarovski Bracelet

When I'm working on a project that is taking me a really long time (the Petalicious Cuff in a previous post), I HAVE to take breaks periodically to work up something quickly. Sometimes it's a ring or a pair of earrings (as you'll see in upcoming posts...lol...because I did those, too), but this time it's this Swarovski bling bracelet! :)

Chain Link Bracelet and Earrings

I don't usually work with chain. The clasp on the bracelet is really cool. It's magnetic and the rose petal comes apart. It's sterling silver, and I think I got it at Hobby Lobby. Petalicious Cuff--Work in Progress

I finally managed to take some pictures today of the Petalicious Cuff that I'm making (designed by Melanie Potter). I have managed to do a few other quickie pieces (rings, earrings, and bracelets) and I'll post those later, but these are pictures of my "work in progress." I will try to take some "work-in-progress" pictures, but I usually stink at that, so that's why I posted the link. You know how sometimes when you're working on a project that is going to take forever and you just get sick to death of it? This bracelet isn't like that! :) The base consists of right angle weave and chevron stitches, which are two of my favorite. The pattern is very well written, so I don't have to think really hard (which is a good thing) and right now I'm really just enjoying the heck out of it! I'm almost finished with the base. I'm a very slow beader and I'm beading even slower on this because I REALLY don't want to have to rip any stitches out! Wish me luck!
